CHILDREN’S CHOICE CENTER MANAGEMENT
We require that our managers have degrees in early childhood education, child development, or a related field. We also require that they have experience in both management and a child care or early childhood environment. Our corporate staff trains our managers on Children’s Choice philosophy, policies, and procedures. If possible, we place a new manager with one of our senior center directors to learn our systems through observation and hands-on experience. In all cases, a senior center director and/or a regional director is in the center with a new director for most of their first month with Children’s Choice. After the first month, the regional director is in the center a minimum of one day a month and is available by phone at all times.
CHILDREN’S CHOICE CLASSROOM EDUCATORS
We look for educators who have a genuine love for children and an appreciation of age-appropriate behaviors and differences. Our educators are required to have formal training in early care and education as well as experience in the classroom. A bachelor’s degree with a focus in early childhood education or child development is preferred. Potential employees undergo a thorough screening that includes a background search, drug testing, fingerprinting, reference checks, and an intensive interview process. We expect the highest standards from all of our employees and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for transgressions of Children’s Choice’s child care employee policy, child care licensing rules and regulations, and improper staff behavior.
