Information on the internet is practically endless about parenting, health and safety, child development, and early care and education. Below are websites that we have found helpful as professional educators and parents ourselves. Please keep in mind that while we think these websites are both useful and interesting, we cannot assume any responsibility for their content nor endorse their products.

§          www.zerotothree.org -- This site offers information for parents and educators about infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds.

§          www.parentsasteachers.org -- You will find child development information and support for both parents and educators, as well as resources available in your region.

§          www.tnpc.com -- The National Parenting Center furnishes comprehensive and responsible advice from respected authorities in child development and parenting.

§          www.nncc.org  -- The National Network for Child Care provides information and articles about all aspects of early care and education.

§          www.naeyc.org -- The National Association for the Education of Young Children is an international advocacy group dedicated to improving the well being of all young children. Their self-study and accreditation process ensures the highest standards in early care and education centers throughout the world.

§          www.naccp.org -- The National Association of Child Care Providers is the nation’s leader among organizations serving child care owners, directors, and administrators. NACCP is committed to improving the quality of early care and education through leadership training and accrediting child care centers.

§          nrc.uchsc.edu/STATES/states.htm -- The National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care and Early Education provides information about each state’s child care licensing regulations, as well as parenting advice and guidance for choosing quality child care.

§          www.childcareaware.org -- This site offers a wide range of information and resources for both parents and educators including parent networks and quality care in your area.

§          www.aap.org -- The American Academy of Pediatrics is the premier organization for information relating to children’s health and well being.

§          www.cdc.gov -- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s mission is "to promote health and quality of life by preventing and controlling disease, injury, and disability." You’ll find great information about health, diseases, and conditions on this website.
