Two-Year Old Program
Approximately 2 to 3 Years of Age
Your two-year-old is showing a strong desire to do things independently. They help dress themselves, feed themselves, and want to help you at home. They are becoming more social and enjoy playing with other children. Their educator understands their emerging independence and offers both small group and individual activities to foster their skills in all areas of growth and development—language & literacy, intellectual, physical, and social/emotional.
Your child's educator offers the learning experiences provided through Children's Choice Classics© and offers additional activities based on your child's Developmental Milestone Checklist. Your child will enjoy reading books, working on puzzles, and building structures with blocks. They will explore textures and learn math concepts with water and sand in Sensory Play. Home Center provides them the opportunity for pretend play, to practice language skills, and to understand their feelings and those of others.
Your child's educator will share your child's day with you—the great activities they enjoyed, what they ate, when they slept, and other things you want to know—both verbally and on their Two's Daily Report. Your child's educator is always available to talk with you about their experience at Children's Choice.
